Tuff tuff was unveiled at 19th November 2021 at Tierp’s train station in Sweden. “Tuff tuff tut tut” is swedish and has the same meaning than “chugga chugga choo choo” in english. The art work consists of a wall painting, bronze sculpture and steel plates that are connected to vibration devices, which make them work as loudspeakers. You can also feel the vibration of the sounds when touching the steel plates. The sound track is constructed from train sounds that people make when playing with train toys. The sounds were recorded online by people of all ages from around the world. Thank you very much for everyone who participated! Size of the work (visible parts) is width 220 cm, height 150 cm and depth 8 cm. Electronic devices are inside the house.
